Untrained militants trapped in South Kashmir village after attacking an Army patrol

Kulgam, June 24: Yet again militants after attacking an army patrol got trapped in Chadder village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Militants, who lack any special training fired upon army patrol and then got trapped in the village.

“They (militants) are committing suicide. Without any proper strategy and traing they attack trained Indian Army solidiers and then get trapped,” said a local.

This Reporter who is near the encounter site is trying to find out a safer place as gun shots are creating panic.

“A 4 hour militant without any weapon was killed in Nazneenpora Tral area few days ago. Here seems be the the same case,” said a highly qualified young man. He said it will be a miracle if they will escape from the spot.

A police official who was reluctant to talk on camera said that at least two militants are trapped in the village.”

Updated: Reports said both the militants were killed in 15 minutes long gun fight.
