Srinagar, July 3: Bhartiya Janata Party is keen to form a government in Jammu and Kashmir and for this purpose the party has approached various legislators from all the three political parties including People’s Democratic Party, Congress and National Conference, reliable sources said.

Sources added that Indian Union Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval are arriving in Jammu and Kashmir with sole purpose to talk to rebel legislators to pave way for government formation. Though official sources said that Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Shri Amarnath Cave, but unofficial sources added that Singh along with Doval will held back door meetings with legislators already in touch with BJP.

If sources are to be believed, over 14 PDP legislators are in touch with BJP. Ironically, BJP according to sources have also contacted various legislators of National Conference and Congress Party.

The rebellion attitude and distancing themselves from PDP has reportedly encouraged dozens of legislators and if sources are to be believed, at least 14 PDP legislators will distance themselves from the party. “When CNS contacted an incumbent PDP legislator to seek his opinion on present political scenario, he said: “You can talk to those PDP leaders who have hijacked the party and are sitting at Gupkar. Please talk to them. I am enjoying sitting at home,” he said on condition of anonymity.

However, another PDP legislator from Batamaloo Noor Muhammad said that only those legislators will join hands with BJP who are in need of money. “For me, it is an uphill task for BJP to form the government. All legislators are not consciousless and money-hungry,” he said adding that MLA Tangmarg Muhammad Abbas Wani is still part of party.

When asked whether he intends to follow the line of Abid Ansari and Imran Ansari, Noor Muhammad said the he will always be loyal to party and Mehbooba Mufti.

Former PDP leader Tariq Hameed Karra who is now part of Congress Party claimed that a group of MLA’s led by Mufti Sahib’s and Mehbooba Ji’s most loyalist Man Friday is all set to coble yet another unholy and unethical alliance with BJP after Amarnath Yatra, a gainst a very heavy reward of huge amount for each legislator.

“The game plan would be to hold a separate legislature party meeting and dethrone Mehbooba Mufti as Leader of the Legislature Party and this independent group would be allowed to occupy separate seats in the Assembly by the Speaker,” Karra said.

He said that simultaneously this independent group would form the government with BJP. Though it was a fait accompli after PDP became facilitator and collaborator with RSS, the irony is that the party president of PDP shall literally be thrown out of her own party by her most trusted lieutenants.

BJP legislator and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir said that there is every possibility that ‘dissatisfied’ legislators of various political parties would join hands and will play a key role in government formation. (CNS)
