Urges to pray for peace in J&K at Medina
SRINAGAR, Jul 20: The leaders and members of Janta Dal (United) led by its State President G M Shaheen, today visited Hajj House at Bemina Srinagar to take a stock of arrangement being provided to Hajj pilgrims by the state administration.
Shaheen also interacted the another batch of pilgrims drawn from various districts of Jammu and Kashmir arrived at Hajj House, Bemina, in the wee hours today and who were provided all necessary documents for undertaking the pilgrimage. He further appreciated and hailed the state administration headed by Governor NN Vohra for arranging quality arrangements for Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir regions who have left for Saudi Arabia today to perform the annual Hajj pilgrimage. He also hailed the efforts of administration for providing other facilities to the Saudi-bound pilgrims at Hajj House included transportation, boarding and lodging, luggage checking, hassle-free screening of baggage and refreshment.
He also hailed the Government of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for arranging three more Hajj flights operated later in the day from the Srinagar Airport via New Delhi to take the pilgrims to Medina in Saudi Arabia. The pilgrims, accompanied by their relatives and family members were also stressed upon them to pray for holy journey and to return home safely with the grace of Almighty.
