Assure to take up hardships of pilgrims with Governor
SRINAGAR , Jul 16: The leaders and activists of Janta Dal (United) JD (U) led by its State President G M Shaheen, today visited Pahalgam Amarnath Yatra Base Camp to take stock of arrangement Amarnath pilgrimage being provided state administration and interacted with a large of Amarnath pilgrims enroute Pahalgam.
Welcoming the Amarnath pilgrims at Pahalgam Yatra Base Camp, G M Shaheen interacted with several Amarnath yatries coming from various parts of the nation and shared with them about the arrangements being provided by the government who were appreciated the government for quality arrangement especially healthcare system and other basic facility being set up by the state administration.
While interacting, the pilgrims shared several things with JDU leader which they more save in Kashmir keeping in view of National Media who spread false propaganda about the militant attacks on Yatra which has expose their tall claims. “The people of Kashmir has given welcome respond in Kashmir and provided every help and hospitality to our families and kids which will not accepted from the people of Kashmir as far as militant threat is concerned on the Amarnath yatries,” a yatri family Ramesh Kumar from Maharashtra told Shaheen.
He added that we are feeling much safer than what National media are showing to them and are too much accomplish with hospitality of local people.
Further, some group of yatris told JDU team that some pilgrims who are coming late in the evening after 9 pm are not allowed to enter in the yatra base camp who are facing several problems and hardships regarding of this matter which is the need of the hour to address by the government not for us but for every yatris at every base camps while visiting Kashmir organized by the government.
Meanwhile, Shaheen gave patient hearing the yatris and assured that he will discuss this matter with the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and others concerned departments so that Amarnath pilgrims will not face any hardships while performing their Amarnath yatra.
