Majeed Padder seconds Imran Ansari, says people want Govt in JK

People have voted for government not for imposition of Governor’s rule’

Srinagar, Jul 04: In a major political development, another Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) MLA from Noorabad assembly constituency, Abdul Majeed Padder has seconded the former Minister and PDP MLA, Imran Raza Ansari, saying that he was thrown out from the ministry due the lieutenants of PDP president, Mehbooba Mufti.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Padder said that the people in his constituency want an immediate end to the governor’s rule as the people have voted for the government not for the imposition of the Governor’s rule.
He said that “I am in talks with the people of my constituency and they want that the government should be formed in the State immediately.”
“It doesn’t matter who will form the government. I appeal the leaders from NC, PDP and other parties to come and sit together and take any decision regarding the formation of next dispensation in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added.
He said that whatever PDP MLA Imran Raza Ansari has said can’t be objected. “Yes I second him. Whatever he has said is very true,” he added.
He further told KNS that no MLA or leader was being taken into the consideration for any matter in the party. “The party was never taking us into the consideration before taking any step,” he said.
Asked why he was expelled from the cabinet, he said, “it was my luck but besides that it were the lieutenants of Mehbooba who did it.” (KNS)
