Congress party has not forgotten backstabbing by PDP
Doda, Jul 02: Abdul Majid Wani, former R&B Minister and General Secretary J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, referring to news of possible PDP Congress coalition in J&K as mere rumours milled out by some vested interests out of their fancywork only.
He said that yesterday only the senior national leader of Congress Party Ghulam Nabi Azad had, categorically, rejected even one percent iota of truth in the news of possibility of formation of government by the Congress party in the state as coalition partner of the PDP.
People have not forgotten the backstabbing, of Congress PDP government led by Ghulam Nabi Azad as Chief Minister of the state, done by the PDP leaders, during the year 2008, when Ghulam Nabi Azad had restored the state back on development path after militancy.
Ghulam Nabi Azad had started an unforgettable era of infrastructural development and fulfillment of aspirations of people from all regions. Whether it was bifurcation of different departments into separate departments for Jammu as well as Kashmir, construction of Haj House buildings in Srinagar, construction of Yatri Niwas Bhawan in Jammu, carving out new districts giving equal share to all regions and meeting out long pending demands of people, speeding up state infrastructural development by government agencies in two or shifts in a day, restoration of tourism and forest infrastructures, which were badly damaged during militancy period, restoration of TRC buildings all over the state, connecting all far flung areas of state with a strong network of roads & bridges.
The state was touching new horizons of growth and development under the able leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad as it’s Chief Minister, which was not well digested by few destructive minded leaders of J&K, who cooked up conspiracies and dislodged the government by withdrawal of support by the PDP.
Majid Wani further said that still, keeping in view anti BJP feelings of people of Kashmir, Ghulam Nabi Azad offered unconditional outside support of the Congress Party to the PDP, after year 2014 Assembly elections in the state, so that PDP formed government on its own so as to fulfill anti BJP & anti RSS aspirations of Kashmir valley People. But, the PDP leadership, which fought 2014 Assembly elections on anti RSS plank, playing with feelings of people entered into an unholy coalition partner ship with the BJP only to fulfill it’s greed of power and money.
The state people have witnessed a black regime during last more than three years which ensured killing of hundreds of innocent civilians and also, blinding thousands of youth by use of notorious pallet guns.
The state has gone twenty years back with regard to its growth and development and divide among people on basis of religion, increasing pressure of anti people agencies giving the communal harmony among people of the state a grave setback. (KNS)
