Police rescues a mentally infirm boy found in Pahalgam and reunites him with his family

Srinagar, July 24: Anantnag police found an infirm boy in Pahalgam area of Anantnag district and reunited him with his family.
Today a police party of Police Station Pahalgam found a minor boy who was roaming in suspicious circumstances in Chandanwadi area of Pahalgam. Later he was questioned and was found unsound. He was unable to mention his identity.
Police used all possible means in order to ascertain his identity and residence.
Subsequent efforts revealed that the said boy belongs to Srinagar and his father’s name is Ghulam Mohd Laway, a resident of Bemina. Accordingly police contacted his parents through the concerned Police Station and after completion of legal formalities the said boy was reunited with his parents.
General public and parents of said boy applauded the prompt and swift action of police.
