Students cross Tawi River in absence of bridge to reach school in Udhampur   

SRINAGAR, JULY 17: In a viral video from Udhampur district of Jammu, students of government school put their lives in danger to cross Tawi River to reach schools in absence of a bridge.

In a viral video on social media students can be seen walking in knee-deep water, risking their lives, to reach schools from one village to another.

When Press Trust of Kashmir (PTK) contacted these students they said that, “We face lot of problems. We are not able to reach school in time due to lack of a bridge.

Meanwhile these students requested the government to build a bridge so that they can reach school in time. They requested governor of Jammu and Kashmir to take strong note of the issue. (PTK)
