Visited many places in south Kashmir and met with the victims of Indian aggression
Srinagar, 15 July: chairman Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has been once again arrested by police when he was returning home from south Kashmir where he had gone to expresses condolences to some bereaved families. Yasin sahib along with vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and other including Imtiyaz Ahmad and Arshad Ahmad were returning to Srinagar when police at Sangam stopped and detained them. They are now lodged at police station Sangam Islamabad…It is worth to mention that JKLF chairman was released yesterday after 10 days of incarceration and today has been again detained by police. JKLF strongly condemns this arrest.
Prior to his arrest today, JKLF chairman along with a delegation traveled to South Kashmir and visited many bereaved families of those recently martyred by Indian forces. Yasin sahib visited Hawoora Raidwani and met with the bereaved families of martyred girl Andaleeb Jan, martyr Shakir Ahmad Khanday and martyr Irshad Ahmad Lone. All these innocent martyr became the victims of blood thirsty Indians on 7th July 2018. Yasin sahib met with the shattered families and expressed solidarity with them. He then moved to Gasipora Wanpoh and met with the bereaved family of martyr Yawar Ahmad. After meeting this bereaved family Yasin sahib along with other members of the delegation visited Brakpora Islamabad (Anantnagh) and met with the family of martyr Sheeraz Ahmad who became a target of trigger happy Indian occupational forces on Eid day (June 16th 2018). Yasin sahib expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. JKLF chairman then traveled to Naowshehra Srigufwara Bijbehara and met with the bereaved family of innocent martyr Muhammad Yousuf Rather who was showered with bullets along with his wife who is still under treatment for her wounds. Yasin sahib also met with the victims of the locality whose residential houses were burnt down or bombed by Indian aggression and who have been left homeless by so-called biggest democracy.
Earlier JKLF chairman visited Malaknagh Islamabad where he expressed condolences to Sofi Family on the demise of their father Ghulam Muhammad Sofi. Deceased was the father of senior Hurriyat Leader Mukhtar Ahmad Sofi. Yasin sahib met with the members of his bereaved family and prayed for his heavenly abode. He also prayed for the sabr-I-Jamil to his bereaved family. It is worth to mention that Yasin sahib and delegation had left Srinagar early in the morning.
After Meeting the bereaved families and victims of Indian aggression at various places, JKLF chairman and others on their return were stopped by police at Sangam. Police cordoned their vehicle and arrested JKLF chairman along with Mushtaq Ajmal, Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Imtiyaz Ahmad. All arrested have been lodged at police station Sangam now. A JKLF spokesman while condemning these arbitrary arrests has said that these arrests, restrictions and other oppressive measures are actually a glaring example of anti-democratic approach of Indian rulers.
