Bandipora, Aug 20: Senior PDP leader Nizamuddin Bhat has exhorted upon Governor’s administration to ensure proper utilisation of funds earmarked for development of remote and tribal areas.

He said that key sectors like education, health, sanitation and connectivity remain in doldrums in remote villages and hamlets while traditional sectors of sustenance like animal husbandry, forest and environment are on decline on account of apathy and human fiddling.
Bhat said administration needs to be geared further for speedy execution of ongoing works and proper results of available funding so that backward areas get a desired push in targeted growth- oriented planning.
During his two day visit to Bandipora he said there is a need of persistent surveillence from the administration to ensure proper use of money provided for improving infrastructure and basic facilities in neglected areas.
