 Shopian 01 August: Militants attacked an Indian Army patrol in Check-e-Cholan village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday.

 According to reports reached to Kashmir News Bureau “A patrol party of army’s 34 Rashtriya Rifles unit at Check-e-Cholan was fired upon by some unidentified militants.

 However, No casualties were reported when the last reports came in

The area has been cordoned off, he said, adding that further details are awaited.(KNB)
