Srinagar 26 September: Jammu Kashmir government on Wednesday approved 7th Pay commission of SSA teachers who were demanding the implementation of 7th pay commission.
According to reports reached to Kashmir News Bureau that “7th pay commission will get effect from April April 2018, the decision during meeting chaired by Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satpal Malik.
Important to mention here, from last few months, Scores of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers were protesting at the summer capital of the state. The employees were demanding implementation of the seventh pay commission.
Earlier, the government had constituted a Committee headed by Principal Secretary Finance to look into the grievances of teachers, in particular the SSA Teachers. (KNB)
