JKCSECC holds emergency meet to discuss employees’ issues

Srinagar, Sep 25: An emergency meeting of Jammu & Kashmir Civil Secretariat Employees coordination Committee (JKCSECC) was held today under the chairmanship of Chairman Ghulam Rasool Mir.

Besides Maqbool Hssain president lower Grade Employees, Mukhtar Ahmad , President Legislative Assembly employees, all the union representative also attended the meeting, JKCSECC Chairman Ghulam Rasool Mir said in a statement issued to Global News Service today.

Besides other things, the meeting also discussed revocation of SRO-202 of 2015, detachment of attached staff, providing of allotment to secretariat moving employees, eviction of illegal occupants from government quarters, promotion of employees of assembly secretariat in a time bond manner, payment of full salary to newly appointed accounts assistants instead of stipend during initial period of training, the statement said.

The meeting also discussed threadbare rationailzation of staff and the establishment of GAD and their posting in the departments accordingly as per requirements, removal of pay anomaly of Sr. Office attendants, Daftari,Legal assistant, EDP supervisor and employees of the assembly secretariat and enhancement of move  TA/TMA/ which were ignored during implementation of 7th PC.

“The meeting also discussed the recommendation with regard to change of nomenclature of secretariat employees union and issuance of notification thereof,” the statement added.

It said that the coordination committee made a fervent appeal to the Governor and chief secretary, J&K for redressal of the issues confronting them at the earliest.

“The coordination committee also extended thanks to finance Department for issuance of clarification in respect of SRP-333, however the same needs to be examined /revisited. A detailed proposal in this behalf stands submitted before the principal secretary Finance department,” the statement said.

 “More ever, the change in the office timing thereby increase in working hours shall  have a bad impact on the working of secretariat, thus needs to be revisited on the analogy of decision taken by Hon’ble high court,” it added.
