Qazigund, September 25: At least seven candidates fills nomination papers in first phase for upcoming Municipal polls in Qazigund town in South Kashmir’s Anantnag District on Tuesday.
BJP Senior leader and Member of Legislative Council Sofi Yousuf While talking with media told that “people should not dared to be threatened”.
He also added that, “Central Government of India has allotted Rs 4700 crore for developmental activities immediately after the conclusion of the ongoing poll process in Jammu and Kashmir“.
The scrutiny of the papers would be held on November 27 and November 29 is the last day for withdrawal of nominations.
A total of 195 candidates have filed their nominations for the fourth phase of polls to be held in 18 Assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir on December 14.
Pertinent to mention that PDP and NC has already taken conscious decision unanimously that the parties will not take part in any election process at present as the central government has been linking the hearing of the case pertaining to Article 35-A with the forthcoming Panchayat and ULB polls in the state.
