Srinagar, 11 October: our martyrs are our pride and their sacrifices as our precious treasure. This nation is indebted to these great souls. This was stated by the vice chairman of Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt while speaking to bereaved family of martyr Aasif Ahmad of Verinagh who embraced martyrdom recently. Earlier JKLF vice chairman along with a delegation comprising of district president Islamabad Muhammad Ishaaq Ganie, Master Muzafar Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad Kuchay and Tehsil president Showkat Ahmad reached Verinagh and visited the bereaved family of recently martyred Aasif Ahmad. JKLF delegation paid rich tributes to the great martyr and said that these martyrs are our pride and their sacrifices our real treasure and no Kashmiris can ever forget these sacrifices. JKLF leader while praying for the elevation of his place in paradise, also prayed for the Sabr-I -Jamil to his bereave family. JKLF delegation after wards went to Breth Diyalgam and expressed solidarity with JKLF senior member Bashir Ahmad Butt whose mother breathed her last recently. JKLF leaders while praying for the heavenly abode of the deceased mother also prayed for the Sabr-I-Jamil of his bereaved family.
Meanwhile JKLF has strongly condemned the ongoing repression in Kashmir and termed it as worst kind of state sponsored terrorism. While condemning the police raids against JKLF Zonal vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt and intimidating his family, JKLF said that police raids and oppressive measures against political leaders and activists are in every respect condemnable.
