The cable TV operators told KNS that thousands of unemployed youth are working in the field but after suffering a huge loss due to the recent snowfall, their future is at stake.
“Due to recent snowfall, about 90 percent transmission has been damaged and unfortunately, no compensation has been announced in our favour, thus leaving thousands of families to suffer,” the cable TV operators said.
“We are educated but unemployed youth and having loans from banks but govt never compensated us,”
they said, appealing the authorities to look into the matter at an earliest so that they could also heave a sigh of relief.
“We are promoting Kashmiri culture through our local channels but nobody appreciated us ever,” they said.
