BJP leader Anwar Khan slams Congress over baseless allegations

Srinagar, Nov 6:  Senior BJP leader Mohammad Anwar Khan on Tuesday lashed out at Congress party for levelling baseless allegation against Bharatiya Janata Party, saying Congress has misused the government machinery for the last seven decades and is now frustrated.

Anwar in a statement issued to GNS has strongly reacted against the remarks of the senior Congress leader that the state administration has become a tool in the hands of BJP.

“Congress has the experience of misusing the government machinery for the last 7 decades while being in power, that is why the dynastic party is now levelling the same allegations against BJP,” Anwar said.

He said it the Congress which interfered in every matter in Jammu and Kashmir. “We (BJP) will never indulge in such things. Our motive is that the deserving common people should get their rights,” he said.

On Congress leader’s “ridiculous” remarks that BJP is the enemies of Muslims, Muhammad Anwar said, “I want to tell them (Congress) that it was Congress regime in the last 70 years who killed Muslims as there was no regime of BJP in the State or in Centre,” he said.

BJP leader Anwar said that Mohammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guru were hanged when the Congress was in government both at the State and Centre.

“Who made Mohammad Master Yousuf the (militant leader) Syed Salahuddin, BJP or Congress?” Anwar asked. “Why Congress levels these allegations against BJP?”

Anwar said the “ridiculous” and “baseless” remarks made by Congress reveal the frustration of this dynastic party which the people of Jammu and Kashmir have completely rejected for its corruption, mismanagement and misgovernance for the last seven decades.

“If one goes through the record of Congress, this party is neck-deep in corruption and has only been concerned of keeping intact its dynastic politics. Now that they have faced rejection both in the State of Jammu and Kashmir as well as in other states, it has become habitual of levelling the baseless allegations against BJP which has earned people’s huge mandate everywhere,” Anwar said.

“The anti-BJP statements by Congress won’t work anymore and this dynasty party is destined to face defeat and humiliation by people in future also,” the BJP leader remarked
