It was a summit of the party’s youth leaders being conducted by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Union home minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the event and BJP national president Amit Shah, Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states and other Union Ministers participated in the event.

He was the brain child of some rallies which were organized by BJP on Srinagar roads that were attended by those youth who had joined the party.

After a militant attack, Ajaz Hussain along with party activists unfurled the tri-colour at EDI building at Pampore in South Kashmir. He also organized a tiranga Yatra rally at TRC Srinagar wherein more than 250 workers where arrested by police.
