Poor mobile network, internet services of ‘Airtel’ irk Ganderbal residents

Ganderbal: The telecom company Airtel subscribers at many villages of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district are facing difficulties due to poor network for the past a year.


Airtel users of Repora lar, Yarmuqam, Arhama, manigam, kangan in Ganderbal district said that they were facing a lot of inconvenience due to irregular network, especially internet like connection breaks, inconsistent speed, non availability of proper 4G speed etc.


Due to poor internet services, the students, professionals including journalists and businessmen are worst hit.


Locals said we have approached to the concerned Airtel officials many times in this regard but to no avail. 


A students delegation told this reporter over phone that the poor internet services are affecting their studies as several examinations are underway in schools, colleges and varsities.


They said that services are erratic.”we are facing poor network issues from the past many over a year The internet speed is poor and the 4G service  in our area is nowhere.


He said I have personally conveyed many times it to Incharge Airtel Ganderbal that we are facing networking problem, he assured me look into issues being faced by locals in using internet, mobile telephony and other services to readdress our problem but all in vain said Tahir. 


However locals appealed Airtel higher ups and Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal to redress their grievances as soon as possible.
