Bandipora, Dec 20: National Conference here on today held Protest demonstration in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district against Pulwama Civilian Killings, seeking an end to unabated killings, maiming and human rights violations.
The protesters led by Former MLA Bandipora Ghulam Rasool Naz held placards demanding an immediate end to killings.
The party activists shouted slogans against the government for its failure in putting a stop to civilian killings in the Valley.
Taking to reporters, Former Lawmaker GR Naz said that the attitude of GOI towards our state hasn’t changed.
For how long the blood of civilians will continue to flow in Kashmir? We have been reiterating that there is no military solution to address this issue except to imitate a credible process of structured dialogue, he said.
Besides the Naz, the protest march was also attended Constituency President Mohammad Abdullah Wani, Party Youth Leader Sameer Iqbal Bhat and functionaries of the party and youth wing.
Party’s Youth Leader Sameer Bhat urged New Delhi to end the reign of terror in the State. He said that killings must stop and a dialogue process should be started to resolve long pending Kashmir issue.
Later Party Delegation later called on the administration and presented a memorandum on behalf of the party registering a strong protest at the unabated civilian killings in the Valley.
