Srinagar, Dec 15: Senior Congress Leader and Former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid here on today said that PM Modi & BJP should shun their ego, for the sake of humanity, to stop naked dance of death and destruction in the state. In a statement, Senior Congress Leader Majid Expressed Deep anguish over the unabated bloodshed in valley. Majid said that the innocent civilians killings in the valley will further deteriorate the situation.
Majid while condemned killing of civilians in an encounter between militants and forces in South Kashmir’s distrcit Pulwama, termed the firing on protestors “unfortunate”—saying that such type of incidents would further alienate the people and vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in the state. Majid said that, It seems the government is least bothered about this unfortunate tragic situation. How long it will take the government to wake up from the slumber, Majid asks BJP. He said that the civilian killings are fallout of wrong policies adopted by the central government. People of Jammu and Kashmir are paying huge price for the utter failures of Modi government which only believes in use of force to control the situation in the Valley, he said.
He further added that, Blood bath in valley has crossed all limits for which BJP Govt is fully responsible as they lack any policy, indicative of utter failure of the govt on all counts,the situation in the valley has turned from bad to worst. Majid questioned the promises made by BJP to protect innocent people and ensure peaceful atmosphere in the state. Majid prayed for the recovery of the injured youth, saying their welfare and well-being is the state Government’s responsibility and that the best possible medical care should be ensured at all costs by the Government.
