Bandipora, Dec 22: A local court has directed SSP Crime Branch to register an FIR in a matter regarding the sale of land situated at Sumbal area in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Bandipora’s direction came after an applicant Nazir Ahmed Rather, Chairman Cooperative Taj Housing Limited Kashmir in his petition submitted that he had purchased land measuring 9 marlas and two shops and a gowdown in Khasra number 551 at Sumbal. “By virtue of a fraud sale deed executed by one Manzoor Ahmed Reshi son of Abdul Rahim Rather of Inderkoot Sumbal and the another person Abdul Hamid Parray son of Abdul Ahad of Inderkoot Sumbal illegally occupied my land and godown,” the applicant has submitted seeking registration of case against the accused.
“Applicant has bought this property for Rs 26 lakh that is duly received by another accused Abdul Hamid Shah.”
Taking cognizance of the application, the CJM Bandipora directed SSP Crime Branch to register an FIR against the accused and take necessary measures under law.
