Three non local workers die due to “asphyxiation” in Kulgam

Kulgam, Dec 11: Locals on Tuesday morning recovered three dead bodies from a room in Shou village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

The deceased are non local labourers who probably have died due to asphyxiation, said a police official.

The dead bodies were shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for post mortem.

‘Prima facie it seems they have died due to asphyxiation. The deceased might have used a gas heater and died during sleep in a room with zero ventilation,” the official added.

Another official said that the deceased have burn injuries. He identified the deceased as Wakil Kumar, Mishra and Shafi.
