Wall of kindness emerges in Srinagar city

Sadam Hussain Pandow

Srinagar, Dec 06: The wall of kindness which was initially started by Iran and then reached other various countries has now emerged on the bank of river Jhelum at Srinagar.

Using wall as medium for donation and distribution among needy people is the idea of members of ‘who is Hussain’ a charitable organisation inspired by Hazrat Hussain (RA).

On the wall one can keep food items and clothes for the needy ones, so they can take them without moving for begging door-to-door.

The wall of Kindness is painted in black, white and red spots over white and strip at bottom.

Many hangers are also fixed over the painted portion of wall where people hang clothes and food items.

It is very important and appreciable step to help needy people, says a local person.

He added further that we have to take this initiative forward to all towns and villages.
