Terms sedition law against JNU student as ‘travesty of free speech’
Srinagar, January 16: The IAS topper, Shah Faesal who recently resigned from the service on Wednesday reacted to the sedition law invoked against the JNU students, terming it as ‘travesty of free speech’.
“Invoking Sedition law against Kanhaiya Kumar and eight others is a travesty of free speech. Sec 124A IPC is totally at odds with the spirit of the time,” Faesal as per KNO wrote on Facebook. “World has moved on. India has grown up. It is time for our Governments to grow up,” he said in his post
