70th Republic-Day celebrated across Chenab Valley

Doda, January 26:  Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism at Sports Stadium Doda on Saturday here.
Deputy Commissioner Doda Anshul Garg-IAS was the chief guest on the occasion who unfurled the Tri-Colour and took salute on the march past comprising contingents of CRPF, JKP, JKAP, FPF, Home Guards, NCC, School Children and band troop’s. A colourful cultural programme was presented by the school children exhibiting rich cultural, traditions and heritage of the region. DDC Doda along with other dignitaries also distributed prizes among the participants on the occasion.
SSP Doda Shabir Ahmed Malii, ADC Doda Kishori Lal, ACR Dil Mir Chaudhary, SP Ops R P Singh, ASP Hqrs Doda Vinay Kumar, DIO Ashraf Wani, DySP Hqrs, DySP DAR, Various political leaders and gathering of people attended the function.
Similar, Republic Day was also celebrated at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Bhaderwah where  large numbers of gathering participated in the event where ADC Bhaderwah unfurled the tricolour flag and took salute on the march past contingents of JK Police, CRPF, JKAP, NCC and school children’s. A colourfull cultural programme was displayed by school students which mesmerized the auidence.
In Tehsil Marmat of Doda, Republic Day was celebrated at Govt Higher Secondary School Goha where Tehsildar Marmat Niaz Ahmed Wani hoisted the Tri-Colour flag and greets people on precious Day. Students from various school participated and presented their speech on the occasion.
