AL Badr pays tributes to slain Budgam militants

Srinagar, Jan 22:  Al Badar Mujahideen has paid tributes to the commander Abu Marsad Abu Hurariha and Abu Zarar who were killed in a gunfight with government forces on Monday night in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

A spokesperson of Al Badar Mujahideen, Aatif Hijazi, in a statement issued to GNS hailed the “sacrifices of martyrs” and said “2019 is the year of freedom for Jammu Kashmir”.

He paid salutes to the brother of slain Abu Zarar who first broke the news through Facebook.

He said New Delhi tried its best to suppress the “indigenous freedom struggle” of Kashmiris but will never succeed.

“India is facing defeat in all battles, the reason is the unity among people, freedom fighters and Hurriyat leadership,” he said, adding, “The nation which stands beside their Mujahideen brethren and buries them in groom’s appearance can never be frightened by death.”

The spokesperson also quoted the outfit’s operational chief J&K Hamza Burhan as saying that “India must read writing on the wall that it has no place in Kashmir”.
