Srinagar, Jan 09: IAS officer Shah Faisal has announced his resignation from the civil services “To protest against the unabated killings in Kashmir and lack of any sincere reach-out from the Union government to kashmir; became his targeted issues over his resignation.
Kashmir and growing culture of intolerance and hate in the mainland India in the name of hyper nationalism can decimate the whole national Integration, politicians and burocrates have given lengthy talks but on ground level no one had proved it practically to save the nation from future fissures.
Shah Faisal Hailing from Lolab , was medically a doctor before qualifying for civil services exams. Orphaned at his school going age when his father got killed by militants. Raised by his mother, he become the icon of youth by his assidous and inspirational work.
He has Viewed all these cursing situations of the valley he became impatient and always repeatedly asserting that the Union Government has to embark to find a permanent solution, that solution to Kashmir problem could not be found by bullets and pellets.
As in Kashmir killings and unbridled use of pellet guns have not taking the name to stop yet; and normal activities of people have largely disturbed from few decades. Most importantly the innocent and juvenile have been continuously targeted especially opportunistic encounter sites have marked inhumane and insane look.
Shah Faisal got here an opportunity to resign from the civil services and proved at least he can do when none has done before ,will now join NC party to contest Lok saba elections this is likely to have great impact on the victimized People of Kashmir , surely he will get wide support from nook and corner of the valley if he will continuously think over and raise the muzzled voices of reason all over the India and world in stoic expressed way.
Kashmir people will definitely linger a blind Faith on Shah Faisal about long term struggle and victimization , then at least there would be a sigh of relief to the people that they may be protected from unabating killings and barbarism.
