Bandipora, Jan 31: Senior PDP leader and former Legislator Nizamuddin has sought Governor’s attention toward swelling problems of the people arising out of harsh winter and government’s inadequate response.
Bhat in a statement issued to FAST KASHMIR said despite protests there is no improvement in supply of electricity to consumers through out the valley.
He said while many areas are plunged into darkness in rural Kashmir, townships also suffer due to erratic or no supply.
“Worn out transformers are not substituted in villages. Snow clearance in rural belts is slow or poor. National highway has become a block to movement and growth while Kashmir’s economy is ruining.”
He said bad connectivity and distressed power sector have become symbolic to administrative apathy and poor health sector makes it evident that people’s problems do not bother the administration.
Bhat said state needs a push if it has to come out of problems and governor should make a case with the centre for resolution of complex problems.
