Kishtwar,  January 25: Recently Governor administration gave nod for opening of new forty Degree colleges in entire state. Number of areas were in hope of getting Degree colleges keeping in view their apathetic treatment from successive governments and were confident of getting of Degree College after filing all parameters for according higher education institutions.
Likewise protest upsurge in other areas of state,In District Kishtwar, the Bonjwah Block residents were confident that they will got Degree College as being backward and remote lacking such facility of higher education. However, the vicinity Degree colleges are not easily accessible to their children’s and as such their wards having least scope of higher education.
While talking to local media, a renowned social activist from Bonjwah sector Farooq Keen lambasted Governor administration for step mother treatment with Bonjwah like successive governments did. He revealed with compounded facts that in Kunjwani, Sidra & Nagrota etc areas got Degree Colleges despite the bare fact that such areas lies with 10 km distance of Province headquarter. Quoting of said instance, Keen further elaborated that Governor administration not brothered about the remote & inaccessible areas and put their consent of creation of Degree colleges to such areas that convenient approach to higher education within abysmal distance.
Farooq Keen appealed Governor admistration to revise their decision earlier and sanction Degree college to much deserving area like Bonjwah  hencewith otherwise massive agitation will launch in Bonjwah if Governor administration failed to fulfill our genuine & overt demand. He further warned of dire consequences for not sanction Degree College in upcoming time.
