Doval Doctrine has failed: LeT

Srinagar, Jan 4:  Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah has paid tribute to militants killed in Gulshan Pura, Tral and said their sacrifices will yield fruitful results.

“The situation in the region is swiftly changing. The US exit from Afghanistan will create further hurdles in India’s vicious motives. This is now an official end of India’s long game-plan,” a spokesperson of LeT Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS quoted Shah as saying.

Shah also said that the “2019 is the year of Mujahideen”.

“This is the year of Kashmir’s freedom. This is the year of the end of India’s tyranny,” he said, adding that the Doval Doctrine has failed.

Meanwhile, Mehmood Shah expressed concerns over the continuous silence of the international human rights on “Indian atrocities” in Kashmir.

He thanked people for their “immense support to freedom movement”
