Srinagar, Jan 22: Former Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Shesh Paul Vaid on Tuesday tweeted about the militant brother of IPS officer and termed his killing as ‘sad.’

Taking to social networking site Twitter, Vaid wrote: “Shamsul Haq, brother of IPS officer who had joined militant ranks was among the 3 terrorists killed today in Shopian. I remember the efforts that were made by his brother /other family members and J&K Police to bring him back to mainstream but he met a sad end today.”

Shamsul Haq, brother Inamul Haq  IPS officer, was killed along with his two associates in a gunfight in Shirmal village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
