Man injured in a scuffle succumbs

Baramulla, Jan 30: The man who had sustained injuries during a scuffle in Kunzar Tangmarg area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district last week succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.

   The deceased identified as Nadeem Ahmed Gojri son of Ghulam Mohammad Gogri is a resident of Kunzar Tangmarg.

Police Sources  told new agency CNS that on Jan 25, Police Station Kunzer received an information that some persons of village Panditpora have allegedly  assaulted one namely Nadeem Ahmed in the orchards of village Naidbani Kunzer ,and the injured has been shifted to Primary Health Centre Kunzer.

Accordingly FIR 06 /2019 U/S 341, 307 RPC was registered and the injured was shifted to JVC hospital Srinagar for treatment, where from the injured was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment, and on 29/01/2019 the injured succumbed to his injuries.

During the course of investigation the accused involved in the instant case has been arrested and are under custody on police remand.

SSP Baramulla confirmed that injured died on Wednesday at hospital and they have already arrested all four accused who are behind bars.
