Don’t panic about present situation of J&K

Doda, February 24: After assuming charge as newly posted District Development Commissioner Dr Sagar Dattatray Doifode IAS
convened an introductory cum review meeting at Doda on Sunday here.
During the meeting, participants welcomed DDC Doda amd highlights gge various issues related to development and especially about the present situation of Jammu and Kashmir after Pulwama attack and ahead of Article-35A hearing. Participants also aware DC Doda about damages and loss of properties during heavy snowfall and rains and demanded for compensation. Civil society said District Doda is an example for the whole state as well for India for peacfull atmosphere since 1947 and assured for peace and communal harmony in future also.
After listening, DDC took a comprehensive review of various developmental work vis a vis the status of expenditure incurred till date. He stressed upon the officers to increase the pace of work so that all the undertaken projects are completed within a stipulated time frame. He further asked the departments to hold awareness camps so that people take benefit of various welfare schemes of the state as well as central govt.
DDC assured the participants that their grievances shall be redressed in a phased manner and said that people of Doda district don’t panic about the present situation of Jammu and Kashmir as all the forces troops are deployed only for the elections purpose. SSP Doda also said don’t heeds upon the News and Debates on national Channels and ask people not to believe rumours. He assured for help in every field as they already issued helpline numbers on social media.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, SSP Doda, ACR Doda, ADC Doda, CPO Doda, other civil administration Officer, Politicians, Civil Society members and Media person’s.
