Srinagar, Feb 1: Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) on Friday paid tributes to its two men – Commander Shahid Baba from Drabgam, Pulwama and Anayat Ullaha from Arihal, Pulwama – killed in a gunfight with government forces at Drabgam area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday night. It also paid respect to the parents of the slain militants.
A JeM spokesperson in a statement issued to GNS said, “India is trying hard to suppress the freedom movement in Kashmir but it will never succeed as the sacrifices of the people of Kashmir and mujahideen are our biggest strength.”
Hailing the people, the spokesperson said they without caring for their lives come in large numbers to attend the funerals of slain militants and give them heroic burial.
“India must read the writing on the wall that it has no place in Jammu & Kashmir,” the JeM spokesperson said
