Kathua Police conducted series of meetings in border villages

Kathua February 26: Kathua Police in view of prevailing situation under the supervision of Sh Shridhar Patil IPS organized series of public meetings in border villages and apprised border inhabitants for their situation.

In a statement issued to KNO said that Sh. Ramnish Gupta Addl SP Kathua along with Sh Ravinder Singh SDPO Border Chadwal and territorial officers conducted series of public meetings in village Chakra, Sanyal, Sherpur , Lachipur, Marheen , Haria Chack , Kode Punnu and other border villages in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh and Hiranagar.

The prime objective behind large scale public interaction was to assure people for round the clock assistance by the Police during any situation and advised them not to pay heed to rumours which could breach peace and tranquility of the area.

The officers also laid stress to be observant and alert.The public is advised to inform Police if they observe any suspicious activity in the area.Kathua Police is always prompt for the service of the people, the officers added.
