LeT pays tributes to slain Kulgam militants

Srinagar, Feb 10:  Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Mehmood Shah has paid tribute to five Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants killed in a gunfight with government forces in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.

“The martyrs are shaping the history with their sacrifices. The history will rewrite itself that educated and young sons of Kashmir along with their people played a unified role in the indigenous freedom struggle,” a spokesperson of LeT Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS quoted Shah as saying.

He said the militants are fighting the forces with minimal resources.

“India should wait for the moments of misery, revenge and frustration in near future. We are alive to avenge our sons. The year 2019 will be a decisive stage for Jammu & Kashmir’s freedom struggle,” he said.

Terming the people as “true asset”, Mehmood Shah thanked them saying, “We are proud of their utmost solidarity and support.”
