Kishtwar, Feb 02:  Following reports of the mass scale irregularities in the selection process for various post of Rehar-e-Khel in Kishtwar District, Shakir Siddqui, President Public Awareness Front (PAF) Kishtwar  alleged skewed process in the recent selection of Rehar-e-Khel in District Kishtwar.
In a press statement, President PAF exhibits his concern over the distorted and selective process of  Rehbar-e-Khel (ReK) scheme in District Kishtwar  few days ago, that too issued on the retirement of District youth service sports officer on 31-1-2019 added that  irregularities in the process have sparked a row, with candidates alleging “favouritism” and “nepotism” in the selection list. The selection list was circulated via WhatsApp  group, by the Youth Services and Sports Department. Following public outcry, the same list was later made public after a gap of two days. The list revealed that several highly qualified candidates were left out of the Rehbar-e-Khel scheme selection while simple degree holders, that too whose degrees are questionable were picked instead.

“Candidates having PhD degrees, M.Phil degrees or post-graduate degrees in Physical Education have been thrown out of the selection list, while candidates with a simple degree in the subject have been selected as Rehbar-e-Khel,” he alleged added that Candidates are approaching him with their complaints in this regard.
