Srinagar, Feb 23: Following the violence on Kashmiris in mainland India and crackdown on Hurriyat leaders after Pulwama attack, United Jihad Council (UJC) chairman and Hizb chief Syed Salahudin called for seeing current scenario viz-a-vis Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s decision of two-nation theory.
In an emailed statement issued to KNS, UJC Spokesman Syed Sadaqat Hussain quoted Salahudin said that following the violence on Muslims in India the importance of Jinnah’s two nation theory gets ascertained.
Quoting United Jihad Council (UJC) chief Syed Salahudin the statement read that Salahudin urged the international community to come forth for the resolution of Kashmir immediately and appreciated the role of Sikhs coming to rescue of Kashmiris in India as they were faced with xenophobia.
“It is now imperative for India to address the aspirations of Kashmiris lest all Kashmiris follow in the footsteps of slain Adil Dar, who was left with no other means to make it feel again the gravity of situation in Kashmir,” the statement reads quoting Slahudin.
