TRAL, FEBRUARY 23: While appreciating the sikh community for their commendable job in rescuing Kashmiris from different states of India, following Lethpora attack, civil society Tral has extended their gratitude towards the said community.
In a statement, Chairman civil society Tral, Ishfaq Ahmad Kar, has said that, Sikhs have once again maintained communal harmony by rescuing the Kashmiris including students, businessmen and other professionals from the voilence by some sections of Hindus.
Kar also thanked Chief Minister of Punjab, Captain Amrinder Singh, for his swift action in rescuing the Kashmiri students and to accommodate them with transport & other important facilities.
He strongly condemned the attacks on Kashmiris in Dehradun, Dehli, Jammu, Bihar, Rajastan and other states, and said that, efforts of Khalsa group to rescue the Kashmiris in those attacks and to send them back to Kashmir is appreciable.
Other members of the civil society also hailed the efforts of Sikhs and said that Sikh-Muslim brotherhood has always been a great and will be maintained in every situations in the future.
