Srinagar, Feb 07: Basic educational facilities have a profound impact on learning generation, that includes health, behavior, learning, and growth in achievement, without adequate facilities and resources, it is extremely difficult for students to serve with large numbers of complex needs.
Students can be productive if they are provided an environment conducive to learning but unfortunately various educational institutions in our valley lack essential basic facilities like infrastructure, staff, quality education, institution heads while most of the schools and colleges are yet to be completed ,many of which are even without buildings due to which the students suffer a lot.
Government Degree College for women in Kupwara which was established under the central sponsored scheme–Establishment of Model Degree Colleges in Educationally Backward Districts in the year 2013 and till date not a single building is completed yet and the college is functioning in four rooms of middle school at Sulkoot which includes staff room and principals chamber
