Poonch, February 20: The workshop for civil service aspirants organised by APJ Abdul Kalam Human Welfare Foundation ended on a high note where 102 aspirants participated on the last day of the workshop.
DDC Poonch, Rahul Yadav (IAS) remained present as the Chief Guest, where as various civil society members, District Administration officials were also part of the valedictory programme.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC Poonch Rahul Yadav while congratulating Kalam Foundation for taking such a noble initiative delivered an insightful, inspirational and informative lecture where he deliberated and demonstrated on various important issues, he also spoke at length about the preparations strategies, he also said that district administration would provide all possible help to those serious aspirants who sincerely want to opt civil service as their career.
DDC Poonch also awarded certificates of participation to all the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Waheed Ahmed (KAS) Deputy Director Employment appreciated the efforts of Kalam Foundation and said that these initiatives are need of the hour and aspirants must take full benefit of these workshops organized by Kalam Foundation more often.

Chairman Kalam Foundation Khalil A Banday while presenting Welcome address apprised the audience, aspirants and Guests about the work done by Kalam Foundation in the past three years and also said that, Kalam Foundation will be organising one day workshop for media fraternity in the month of April and also going to organise first ever JK Youth Summit 2019 in the month of June.
It is pertinent to mention here that, Kalam Foundation is organising these workshops every year and this workshop was inaugurated by SSP Poonch Ramesh Kumar Angral and SSP Railways Muhammad Irshad.
Maulana Sayeed A Habib, Chairman Zia Ul Uloom Group of Institutions presented vote of thanks whereas Senior lecturer Haroon Rathore conducted the proceedings of the program.
