Kishtwar, February 08: Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana along with various Officers visited Kishtwar town and adjoining areas to monitor the status of essential services and snow clearance operations.
During his tour,  he visited district hospital, bus stand,  dak bunglow, Giri nagar and other adjoining areas of Kishtwar town.
In district hospital , he met  with patients and enquired about the well being of patients. He directed concerned officers to ensure proper heating system in hospitals as well as the availability of sufficent medicines. He directed to keep the emergency section  fully equipped and ready to meet any  situation due to heavy snowfall.
He also met with public and listened to their issues and on spot directions were passed to concerned officers for prompt redressal.
DC impressed upon the officers to lay immediate focus in the aftermath of snowfall which has created havoc situation likewise the restoration of power supply,inter and intra district road connectivity including highways, drinking water supply, traffic management, operationalization of  ensuring adequate stock of essential food items, LPG and Kerosene oil etc.
