ADC Tral kick-started plantation drive

TRAL, MARCH 16: Additional Deputy Commissioner Tral, Shabir Ahmad Raina, kick-started the Plantation drive within Sub-District Tral by planting a sapling at Government Degree College Tral.

Under this drive, almost all the Higher Secondary Schools, high schools and government offices within sub district will be covered for plantation.

He also took stock of the final work on the College Science Block which shall be handed over to the college authorities in a few days.

The ADC also inspected an Exam Centre at GDC Tral and ensured that exams are being held smoothly.

Later in the day, saplings were also planted within the Revenue Complex Tral.

Besides ADC Tral, Forest Range Officer, Tral Forest Range and other officials took part in the plantation drive.

Meanwhile, on the instructions of the ADC Tral, Municipal Committe Tral removed all the dumpings on highly sensitive Tral-Dadsara road near Mukdam Mohalla.

Also continiuing the process of handing over the newly construted buildings to various departments, instructions were given to R&B Department for handing over the Drug Addiction Centre building to Social Welfare Department.

District Social Welfare Officer Pulwama was accordingly informed by the ADC Tral.
