After surprise visits many teachers found absent, local demand action

Doda, March 17: After winter break and opening schools Sarpanch Panchayat Rotipadrana today on 16-03-2019, Er Mohd Muazzam after receiving so many complaints from the people of Padrana paid surprise visit to the Govt Primary schools Padrana and other adjoining schools.

Sarpanch was accompanied by local representatives. After check at UPS Padrana only one teacher was present at the school and Headmaster was on official duty. It was learned that Teacher namely Mubarak Singh was found on leave and two teachers namely namely Koushal kumar and Firdoos Ahmed found absent. Concerned briefed that they used to attend late.

When stayed there for sometime both teachers Koushal kumar and Firdoos Ahmed reached school at 11:10 am. After enquiry about the late, teacher namely Koushal kumar misbehave with the Sarpanch in presence of the staff members and threatened for grave consequences and also warns not to come again in the school as no body dares to tell us about when to attend or not to attend the school. When enquire from the headmaster, he briefed that concerned teacher is Habitual for late attending the school.

It is learned from the sources the concerned teacher is running private tuition center at Doda and often remain absent from the school. Locals are grieved with the attitude of the school teachers as either they remain absent or attending school later and return back before 3pm for running their private centers. Sarpanch and Local people have requested District Administration to take action against the concerned teacher and advisory be issued to all schools regarding the powers of the Sarpanches in the Panchayats.

Further Sarpanch visited PS Dugga parbati where one lady teacher Naseera Begum was found absent. After enquired from headmaster it was learned that she has yet to join after the winter break. Later sarpanch visited Primary School Shirshi where out of two teacher one was present and other was on official duty at ZEO office Gundna. When contacted ZEO Gundna it was learned that same was present at office.

Sarpanch and local people request DDC Doda to take action against koushal Kumar teacher Middle School who rudely misbehaved with the sarpanch for enquiry about the absence and late coming to school. Moreover local people have threatened that if action will not be taken they will come on the road against CEO Doda and district administration.

Moreover order be issued from DDC Doda to all the officers and employees to maintain a honest work culture in the offices and field functionaries where they work, so that the problems faced by general public will be solved with utmost importance and care.
