Army organised C’kt Match for Orphanage students

Doda, March 23: Indian army organised Cricket match for Orphanage at Distrct Police Line Doda on today.

This cricket Match was conducted by Indian Army 10RR unit Doda and was played between Orphanage students of Basera vs JK Public School Doda in which Basera won the match. It was inaugurated by Major 10RR Anchal in the presence of Principal JK Police School Riaz Mintoo, other officers of army, school teachers and other dignitaries.

Talking to Correspondent Abid Wani, Principal Police Public School Doda said that, we are very thankful to 10RR army unit Doda for organizing tournament and appreciated the role of army in sports activities. He said, this kind of step is very great and appreciable for organizing such activity for Orphanage students whom was always neglected by the govt. Due to this cricket match Basera student who are studying in Police Public School are very excited and Demanded to organize such events in future also and gives us a platform for friendship amongst participants.
