Bijbehara, March 25: Clashes erupt during cordon and search operation in Arwani Bijbehara area of southern kashmir.
Reports reaching KNO that soon after search operation was launched in the area,youth took to steers and started pelting stones on government which was retialated by smoking tear smoke shells.
As clashes erupt, shopkeepers lowered their shutters and traffic went off in the area, they said.
Earlier on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area, joint team of forces including ist RR launched search operation in the area.
Search operation amid clashes were going on when reports last came in.
