GHS Buzla lacks teaching staff, Building work incomplete

Banihal, March 17: Govt High School Buzla was established as Primary School in 1957. It was Upgraded as Middle School in 2008 and further upgradation as high school in 2012. At present school has more than 250 enrollment and the
sanctioned staff strength includes Headmaster, 6 Master grade, 2 Generl Line Tr, 3 SSA Tr, Junior Asstt, 2 Lab.Asstt, Lib.Br and 3 Class-IV. But it very unfortunate that the present staff position of this school is only 2 General line teachers and 2 SSA and all other posts lying vacant till date.

Besides, school have 5 five building blocks consisting of 25 rooms that includes, CAL Centre, ACR Room, Store and Kitchen but unfortunately among 25 rooms of 5 blocks only one ACR Room is functional, 3 rooms which were early constructed and which is 100 meter away from new location are occupied by 23RR since 1994. One block consisting of 7 rooms where damaged in September 2014 floods were declared unsafe and fully damaged by competent authorities.

Newly RMSA building which consists of 9 rooms were constructed and completed up to roof level and is left over there is yet to be handover to the department as its construction is incomplete. Besides 04 room building was sanctioned in 2017 of 48 lakhs but the building construction is stop without any reason and the contractor of this building dismantled two unit toilets too and the school is running only one toilet now that too needs major repair.

Moreover, Other govt schools of its adjoining areas condition is also same as GPS Maran established in 2013 where teachers got regularized and even converted to grade two but no building was sanctioned yet. Another GPS Hariwala building well constructed in 2014 but no class work started yet because of court cases of appointees. There is myseteriousness of Govt building damages of the whole district which is not understood.

Teachers and locals of the area appealed to District administration Ramban and concerned higher authorities to look into this serious matter and fill-up the vacant post and completed the left constructions worka and save the future of over poor students of these areas.
