Doda, March 13: At least 15 shops were damaged after landslide hit Bathri village in Doda district.
As per reports available, atleast 15 shops were badly damaged after the heavy landslides triggered by winter rains early in the morning at about 4: 30 am in Bathri village, kahara tehsil, sub division Thathri in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. However, there was no information on loss of human lives due to landslides reported.
After the incident, locals of the area visited the spot and rescued the important items from slides. The road connectivity fom Gandoh-Bhalessa has been affected for vehicular traffic.
The state has been witnessing incessant rain and snowfall over during the winter which has washed away national highway, link roads, electric towers, residental structures besides rendering thousands of people homeless.
