Kashmiri language lecturer from Tral bags award in Bangkok

Pulwama, March 17: A teacher of Kashmiri language from South Kashmir’s Tral in Pulwama has bagged the award in Bangkok for his outstanding contribution in promoting Kashmiri language at International level.

Lecturer at Govt. Degree College Tral, the awardee Mir Sajad Hussain, son of Ab Salam Mir of Gulshanpora Tral, has bagged many awards so far, for his contribution towards promoting and giving shape to Kashmiri language in and outside the state.

The Race-2019 Bangkok award for the best teacher of the year, to Mir was given by International association of Research and Developed organisation (IARDO), a non governmental organisation, in a function at Bangkok University, Thailand.

For receiving this prestigious award, Sajad’s family, friends, colleagues and other people in the area have congratulated him and wished him good luck in future.

Besides working as lecturer at Govt. Degree College Tral, the awardee Mir use to give free coaching to the aspiring and needy Kashmiri students in the area.
